The BODY SAW!!

[wpvideo 4No8ScbX]

This a great progression to the plank. It will challenge you and your core stability.

  • Focus on keeping a neutral spine through out the movement. Stay in line from your head to your heels.
  • Only go as far as you can to maintain good movement.
  • To make the exercise less challenging reduce the range of motion.
  • To make it more challenging, increase range of motion, or throw in a pause at the end of the movement, before you pull yourself back in.

Complete 2-4 sets at 8-12 reps.

Core stability and core strength is important for whatever your goal is, whether it be for health, strength, or sport performance it can drastically improve your results. Having a strong stable core can help keep your back and knees among other parts of your body healthy.

This exercise requires very minimal equipment. You can you use a Slideboard, furniture sliders, frisbees, or a even paper plates. They will all work great.

If you are ready to challenge your core and get really strong then start implementing the body saw right away. Finding new good exercise is always great and I promise this one won’t disappoint.

Give it a try and let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you and please share!!
