Last week I talked about “thanking your body” you can check it out here! To quickly recap, I talked about distressing your body by working on mobility, doing myofascial release (foam rolling), and stretching. Doing those three things can make a big difference in helping you move right and stay healthy. Today, I am going to make good on my promise in last week’s post and go over my warm-up routine for clients.

keep calm and warm-up

To many people skip the warm-up, and take it for granted. How many times do you hear people say, “I can’t get loose” or “I am so tight?” I am willing to bet those people don’t warm-up consistently. And no, your warm-up sets at the bar do not count.

There are many benefits of warming-up and I have written about them before here. But again to recap, the main benefits are:

  • Increased body temperature
  • Ingrain proper movement
  • Muscle activation
  • Improves posture

The warm-up gets the body ready to crush your training session!

Today, I want to give you a free warm-up to try. Use it before your next workout and I promise you will have a better training session. If you want to foam roll for a few minutes before, no problem.

Warm-Up Routine

If you’re looking for a warm-up to hit all ends of the spectrum, THIS is the warm-up for you!
